"One of my greatest pleasures in driving instruction is working with the
young drivers of our community."
driver's education,
better known as driver's ed, is a type of program offered by different
driving agencies and
driver education onlineagencies where students
are taught how to drive. Another important aspect being taught by these
agencies is how the future driver should practice road safety.
During these courses,
there is usually a dual-controlled car that has a brake pedal for both
driver and instructor sitting on the passenger seat for the actual drive
test.
driver education classes
are used to accompany the government-printed driving manuals or
handbooks, and can be a great help for the student so that they can be
prepared for the test and to get their learner's permit and driver's
license.
Laurie is committed to
helping change their behaviour to driving and assist them to become safe
and considerate drivers with the skills necessary to prevent them from
having or creating accidents.
Many of today’s' teenagers
have little regard for the dangers associated with driving a motor
vehicle. Whilst confidence is an integral part of being a safe driver,
lack of knowledge and skill, mixed with over confidence, can be a lethal
combination.
Laurie has noticed during his training that most of his clients suffer from
Parent taught driver education. This in itself isn't a bad thing, except for the fact that the actual driving test has changed so much that just by teaching their young driver the "Art of Driving" will not get them a tick in the box and a Provisional Licence.
