There are several types of driving courses on the Market. Which one you choose all depends on your needs at the time.
If you choose to do
Residential Driving Courses, you would basically be undertaking a classroom theory course that will give information that can be extremely helpful in developing your attitude when it comes to driving with other road users who may not share your enthusiastic approach to driving safely.
You will just have to watch this space if you wish to do an
Online Driving Course. at this stage there isn't a lot available in this country; however; we intend to bring you a course that you will be able to undertake in stages online that will give you the same information that a residential course will give you!
Oomph Driver Education prides itself on its delivery of
Intensive Driving Courses. We have had some great feedback from past clients who have enjoyed the high stress, fast learning approach to driving. normally held either in Sydney or Newcastle.
Here at Oomph Driver Education we don't pursue
Performance Driving Courses as they don't fit with the current theory of Low Risk Driving behaviours that is now being endorsed by most state transport authorities as the new benchmark to aspire to. If you wish to learn how to drive fast around a racetrack and skid around witches hats, there are numerous driving schools in Sydney ready to take your money.
Defensive driving techniques are outdated and no longer relevant on our
roads. Low Risk Driving is the new catch phrase for safe driving
behaviours and
defensive driving courses. The difference with “Low Risk Driving”
techniques is that you attempt to gain information on the driving
environment before there is any necessity to take defensive action
