Sydney Driving lessons in NSW

Even though Australia has a land mass of 7.7 million square kilometer, it is a sparsely populated country. That is why; it’s quite large distance between two major cities that lies inside the Australia. For instance, it takes 12 hours to reach Sydney from Melbourne and take around 10-12 hour to reach Brisbane from Sydney.

It’s not quite tough job to hire a car in the Sydney because you can explore several number of car hire firms situated around the city. Car hiring is not necessarily recommended for everyone even though it’s easy to hire car in Sydney. Finding parking areas are almost impossible and there is always heavy traffic on the city roads. Therefore, if you’re not a patient driver possessing a good sense of direction then you better avoid the peak hours at all costs. However, Car turns out the must if you’re planning on driving in the outback or outside the city.

If you’re planning to drive alongside the road on unsealed track then firstly, you better take advice from the locals about your journey as well as ensure that you’ve already told some one in your touch about your travel plan. It’s necessary to do so because you may get unfortunately lost at those unsealed track. If your vehicle suddenly breaks down in a remote area then you should stay along with your car because people staying with their broken down car are found more quickly than those who deserted it. If you desire to travel across designated Aboriginal land, then you must have to take permission of the owner in advance.

Extreme climate is the other things that you need to be aware of while travelling in the outback. Especially, such extreme climates are faced in the Northern provinces. The road conditions that will differ extremely; poor, rough, and potholed surfaces are not rare.

Another matter to be considered along with these issues is wildlife. You’ll need to be more vigilant during night travel because local wildlife such as foxes, kangaroos, wallabies and dingoes often stray onto the roads at that time and you can accidently crash your vehicle over them.

If you want to combat this sort of risk then there is an alternative solution for you. You can ask the car hire company whether they have a Shu Roo. Actually, Shu Roo is the name of a car, which is designed in such a way that it emit a high frequency sound that is possible to heard for 400 metres ahead of you and for 50 meters both sides of your vehicle, which will alert every wildlife who arrives across your track. Thus, you’ll be protected along with the Australian wildlife through this technology. Don’t be afraid thinking that you’ve to bear a high pitched sound in your ear as company during the 12 hours long journey to Sydney from Melbourne because the high pitch that is released by Shu Roo can only be heard by the ears of the animals but not through human’s ear.
