The Driving Licence Test

 

 

THE WAY THE TEST WORKS
 

The driving test follows a set course. During the test a testing officer will be in the car with you directing you where to drive, and recording your performance on a score sheet. Your score will be based on your driving performance in a range of situations and your ability to demonstrate low risk behaviours.
 

Some driving behaviour such as breaking a road rule or following other vehicles too closely is considered to be ‘high risk’ . If you behave this way during the test your actions will be recorded as FAIL items and you will not pass, regardless of your score.

 

Minimum ages and rules:
Once your provisional license turns out as valid, you can take your theory test.


Generally, you are considered as eligible to hold car driving license soon after your 17th birthday. Thus, it’s sure that you’ve to wait for theory test until your 17 birthday, if you’ve already applied for your provisional license before being 17.


Disability living allowance
At the age of 16, your provisional come to effect, if you’re receiving disability living allowance at the higher rate. However, it’s possible to apply for it within three months of your 16th birthday.


Motorcyclists Direct access scheme
Direct access is actually a type of scheme that allow a person aged over 21 to avoid the two year/25 kW restriction by facing a test on a machine that is at least of 35 kW(46.6 bhp). we can ride any type of bike during this test, however you should wear fluorescent clothing and must follow entire other provisional license restrictions.

These hazardous videos are scoreable and contain 5 points on each hazard and the pass mark is 44/75
